Cabover More Dangerous??

    The argosy's are nice! They are flat floor and do not have the dog box. But, they are still a Freightliner....

    :yes2557:I drove cab-overs when i started driving back in '77, I liked driving them because theirs no hooddd in front. Sure accidents happen, i know I had 2 of them with cab-overs & i walked away from both of them.:yes2557:

    I've heard of those.I never looked in one though.I have also heard the later COE you could stand up in the sleeper I just never experienced this type.

    Yea, just imagine a condo set up cab and sleeper on a hood Century or Columbia, and that is what the argosy is like but no hood.

    best thing about a cabin over is in the event of a frontal crash , you are the first one there.

    I did a million miles in coe's & loved them. It was easier to put my pants on lying down when I was young & skinny.

    My Dad bought a new W900 in 1977, I bought a new Road Commander. When we were at the KW dealer they had one each of the new Aerodyne coe's & conventionals. I thought they were neat, but I couldn't see why anybody needed all that extra room. I still get by with a 36" Unibilt flat top.
