You need a better bank.

 

I saw the store. Yeah, I stopped up in a pull off on 109. Very quiet, but didn't want to wake up at 3am to finish the drive.

Honest question, What could they have done different? I've never been in this situation before. Other than what they have told me over the phone, I have no other info.

Can't get into any accounts. I'm home now, so I'll see in the morning.

 

Of all the ####ing things to run into me while I'm trying to sleep of course it's a ####ing white volvo with a car trailer. Dirt bag didn't even have the balls to stop and see what he did. If he had gotten out to look he would've seen he just folded my mirror and broke a CB antenna. I wouldve taken $20 for a new antenna and let it go. Not even a scratch on my mirror. Now he's got a hit and run.

Anybody by chance spend some time around Houston and seen a truck that looks like this?



Not like I'm making it all that hard to see me.



Unfortunately my dashcam doesn't have the best quality in the dark. Can't make out the DOT Number.

 

Maybe NOT let some rando just take $5000 out of an account that they shouldn't have access to? And then NOT lock the legit accountholder out?

Their security and procedures both suck.

 

I get what your saying, but whoever took it logged into my online banking. The bank thought it looked fishy and locked the account to secure it.

To me, yeah, it sucks, but I can't put blame on the bank, and I'm glad they secured it.

I just left the bank. The person who got into my account moved money from my business checking, into my personal checking, then into their account.

They had access to all three of my accounts at that bank. I'd say I got lucky.

We started the dispute process and will see how that goes.

Looks like this weekend is winding up to be go time for my area. Debating coming in tomorrow to get set up for next week.
