    CARB has been in full force in the Commiefornia entry border from Nevada state line I-15. No By-pass lane, it’s closed. Mandatory Stopping in scales. They have about six Vans set up. BEWARE, and very afraid.

    Was wondering if they’d actually enforce it, figured it was just another money grab.

    I paid my $30 and don’t have to actually get a smog test until November.

    I signed up but couldn’t figure all that mumbo jumbo and the application. So I didn’t get that far to pay my 30 yet……

    CHP and C.A.R.B. at the Rest Area again yesterday. They had the new "Sniffer" set up as you were going in. If your truck was junk or you didn't pass the pre-emission test, they had 20 or so spots coned off for D.O.T. inspections or more stringent emission testing.
