Good luck to you johnstoy. I dont know about the hiring percentage. You can get prehired on you're own . Just research some companies that will hire out of this area. Not to many. You may have to relocate further north, wich is what i plan on doing.as

Thanks for the response. Right now relocating is not an option but a job is. I have looked at several companies and will make a decision soon as to which one will be right for me. Right now I will concentrate on getting thru this school and go OTR for a year. Maybe by then I will have a good idea of what I am doing.

Hey jas4613, did orientation with ron today.. was very informative and a well spent 3 hours,.. quite a spectrum of people in that seminar,. the pre-hire will eventually get the ball going with WIA i learned,. but they're already out of funds till June,.. still got all my questions answered,. if you want a good laugh, check out dooner livingstone's trainer on youtube,.. take care and keep us updated,.. may be there soon) JC
kickin chicken Thanks this. -
Johnstoy... I'm not sure of the hiring percentage rate ,but everybody has a prehire from crst, so i would believe that would mean 100%. I have 2 more range sessions and then i will be on the road sarting on the 29 th. I thought the training would be more in depth than it is.I guess i should not worry because the end result will be a cdl from a school that runs a ptdi certified training. All the instructors are very nice and informative. Brad gets off topic more than i care for with his stories, but it's all good ... Good luck to you and drive safe............

Nothing that can't be cured with more drive time. And i did not run over any curb's tree's or people in the making of this truck driver. PS i know a little proof reading goe's a long way. sorry for the bad grammar. Until next time have a great day and drive safe.

Wow,.. that was fast,. 3 weeks is all it took?.,, WIA is really clueless and broke down here,. I'll be sending out the CRST application next week to Ron via mail so he can fax it in. US Xpress, Conway, Maverick, all accept less than 1 yr exp and unlike CRST refund some of your tuition.. It's about getting the funds for me ,. how many years back did you go in your job history?.. i got back to 2004 covered but i took 3 years off before that,.. wondering if that's a red flag. Wia or not,. I'm looking at mid-June to start school. Congrats on getting your CDL ,where did you do your road test?.. keep us posted on your progress)
