I'm looking at Pivot just can't get around the 15k price tag , my Slickrock , Vail days are far behind me
Thought I'd throw this in but Bentonville Arkansas is the new Moab , it's off the charts for riding , mild or wild , the lady from Walmart has spent millions developing a trail system , it's a great read about a great place to ride , dine , stay.

Live in flat farmland, paved roads on an either EW or NS orientation on a 1 mile grid with no traffic.
Leave the house after looking at weather vane and head into the wind for the first 10 miles.
Exhausted, return at 50% higher speeds with 50% less effort with the wind at your back

Unless the weather forecast is absolutely horrid I plan to ride the Katy Trail the week of May 12. I’ve never done a ride where there are services and water available regularly so this should be fun. It will be my first time loading up the bike and not carrying 5-6 liters of water and a bunch of food. I’m planning to camp but will probably end up getting a room for a night or two.
ducnut, cuzzin it, Studebaker Hawk and 2 others Thank this.
