What are you bike folks using to pack extra fuel with? Just doing a little route planning. "Should be" ok with what's in the tank. I found out (almost the hard way) that I'm good for 150 km to a tank when pushing hard. Longest stretch between fuel stops on my trip will be 120 km and its mostly downhill on that stretch.
My only concern being if I have to turn around and detour after passing the 75 km mark on that leg. 2.5L of fuel should get me another 35 km of range at least. My buddy is packing his 5L can along since he has the luxury of somewhere to strap it down. My saddle bags won't fit a jerry can.Big Road Skateboard, cke, CAXPT and 2 others Thank this. -

I'm starting to feel it. Been putting in long hours the last couple weeks. Worked until 10 one night last week. Been working half days on Saturdays but took this one off. Still not much of a break, doing an online training course tonight that I have to get done. Just never ends.singlescrewshaker, Tug Toy, sawmill and 5 others Thank this.

I have no personal experience with long trips and no fuel stops but I've heard of people using bottles like these. They are supposed to be good for gasoline. I'd buy one then fill it up and hang it upside down for a couple days to make sure before trusting the seals.
