Sigh. :( :( How in the heck can one have reefer problems when the dang thing ain't even turned on??? I don't know either but every hr, on the hr, I'm getting the "reefer notice" msg. Out of range or turned off. Duh, you think??
Company had me pull over, turn the reefer on, and tried to trouble shoot it from their end. Didn't work. Thank goodness my dirty clothes bag is half full and can be stuck over the QC to quiet the dang thing!!!!

When doing your research make sure you look for what you're responsible for under the lease. Most of these bigger comps they will make drivers pay reefer fuel, tolls, scales, mileage deduction if you drive too much, road tax, fuel tax, etc etc. A company might have some good recruiting ads but don't give you the fine print til you go in and sign your life away. Just a heads up for ya :)

Alan I'm thinking about all that stuff I have been a I/C for several Courier companies here in the area and I know about the fine print and then the finer print like sending in Pizza and Donuts on Friday mornings... Thanks. I hope to someday get to JCT but the road be have a few curves before I get there. Thanks Again. TD

Some do if the previous owner had it installed, if not JCT will finance it on the side note.
