My unit routed ok on what you gave me.. Did you try to reboot the TND and see if it would route you?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Has anyone or is anyone currently waiting on a reply or E-Mail from Rand's technical support? Some changes were done and they wish to make sure that no one is overlooked.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I tried it twice, same error, then I tried to route to the town and it crashed with the navi error. Rebooted and tried the address again, same error. Tried it again 200 miles down the road and it routed. I was sitting right next to the interstate in SV with no restricted roads between.

I also noticed coming down I26 in SC that it was off the highway again. This time I looked at the coordinates on it and the 465t, which was showing on route. They were reading different lat/long and different altitude by up to 200 feet.

Why didn't I win? dang it now i have to actually buy one..... BTW, I had a question about the TND and the lady at the show didn't have an answer for me. On my crappy garmin I can view the entire route it wants me to go and I can then decide whether I want to follow it or go my own way. I couldn't find a way to do that on the TND at the show. The rep there just tried to zoom out alot but the 700 wasn't working very well.

Currently that feature to see the entire route is not available yet. It is on the feature list to be added. Zooming out will show you the route but not the road names that you will be on.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I'm just starting my research on the RM500 and the Cobra 7700.

Anyone use both? Pros and cons?

    Thanks

DieselBoss has done reviews on both. He may not have posted on the Cobra reviews yet. He does an in-depth review.

    Thanks,
    Mark
