I told them today to forget it. I called up Werner and they will have me on a truck on Monday. I can't believe after almost 4 weeks PAM could not get on a truck. If frieght is that slow I don't want to work for them anyway.
-
That is deflating! I guess I better rethink this decision. Thanks for the info.
-
me and a friend just signed on with pam dedicated as a team yes we are rookies and are going through the cdl school in STL ive heard and read the stories what does some one that has actually worked for pam have to say thank you
-
Freight is slow now but PAM makes it an art form all year round. Good Luck with Werner.
-
Tooner......Go read my posts under Bad trucking Companies for PAM....
Scarecrow likes them.....My husband and I are a different opinion. He was a solo driver.....Miles sucked.........long down times between loads........low pay.
As team you may do better. Good Luck to you. -
Is Pam good or bad? Have not found any info on them?
-
Nightbright,ck.around this sight, there seems to be a lot of negative reports on PAM,alias Penny a Mile.
-
they haul a lot of auto parts from TX to Canada.
some here had a good experience with them, some didn't.
i would likely call it a "neutral" company myself. -
There are a lot better out there. My husband didn't have a good experience with them. Scarecrow did. Driving solo as my husband did he wasn't getting miles, was only getting .23 cpm (that was in 1999) and he had to sit sometimes days between loads. And this is with always being in contact with his fleet manager and giving good eta's. Are you just getting out of CDL school?
