What are you applying for?

It’s 100% true but nobody mentions it during any of your interviews . I guess it’s not very important to the job[/QUOTE]
Wow!! May I add that this thread has been most informative. Thanks to all. Recruiter asked what's the earliest date I could schedule an in person. Don't know if that's a moving forward with application or not. Told him two weeks out.viper822004 Thanks this. -

Yes it’s moving forward. When you do the in person the manager will let you know if he wants you to come in for a road test. Passing road test means you’re in.Gotstuckwithatruck Thanks this. -

Good stuff. Said he would try to get that in person set up asap. My biggest concern as somebody mentioned earlier on is the backing. I get the job done it's just not gracefulviper822004 Thanks this. -
Will say Midwest for now.

Yeah. The backing has got a lot of drivers disqualified. Has to do with the trailer being a tanker and having the tandems to the back. Plus it’s smaller than a 53’ and 48’ foot trailer so it turns way different. They have you back into a parking space with cones set up on each white stripe. Both regular and blindside back. You hit a cone and you’re done. They give you the opportunity to get out the truck and check. And also as many pull ups as you want. But don’t take too long or you’re also done. I say about 10 minutes max.Gotstuckwithatruck Thanks this.
