Customer has this ISX that he had at another shop and it was mixing oil into the coolant. He had a complete oil cooler from PDI installed and they said they flushed the system but it is still mixing. I told him I could flush the system and see if they just did a poor flush but as I was flushing it this is his blowby out of the oil fill tube. To me this is a little excessive. https://youtube.com/shorts/M0UapctWCIs?si=cXaAYVlvJdUOgfwC

Moisture on the bottom of the filler cap, or the bottom of the blow by tube?
You could pull the valve cover and know for certain.
Of course, it's hard to get all the oil out of a cooling system. Usually takes 4 or 5 flushes for me, and those aren't just fill, bring to temp flushes. -
Yeah. Not sure what kind of flush they did. It usually takes me longer to flush one than it does to replace an oil cooler.Big Road Skateboard Thanks this.

Cascade powder is what I’ve been told works the best.
Big Road Skateboard Thanks this. -
I've used powder and liquid cascade. Less possibility for blockage with the liquid.
No foaming soaps though like dawn -
If you use cascade powder dissolve it in a container of hot water first, then pour it in.

Go to the 8 minute mark and start watching there. Adept Ape says to only use Dawn and not Cascade. -
Ok? I watched it. I have no idea who this guy is, and honestly, his opinion doesn't matter to me.
Not gonna change my thoughts.
