Usa trucking orientation, van buren, ar

Hello, I recently obtained my class-a from c1 school in indy. I had been schedualed to go with PAM but waited 3 weeks and never got a trainer, so I called and USA said I could attend thier orientation this Monday. I have been reading and some things seem quite different than I thought, this is what I was expecting:
-3 to 4 day orientation with classes then assigned a trainer
-Some people I was in c1 with that went to USA right off the bat said road test and backing was done after training for c1 students.
-4-6 week with trainer then back for tests then assigned truck
-$120 for orientation,$70 if you didn't take a bus, $350 while with the trainer then 26cpm solo truck.
-drug test but the dot physical card I have was accepted.

I don't have huge expectations, but I have had my CDL now for a month and haven't even been in a truck since my state test. My wife is having a fit about me not working yet, and I feel the same way. Anything you all can tell me about just the orientation would be great, if you have more info that would be great too.

 

well i see no one has responded yet, but i went through the orientation and it was pretty gay but not unbearable. im now waiting for my trainer. there was alot of horror stories in the drivers lounge, but it seems like an ok place for a years worth of experience.
