Uniroyal Truck Tire Selector | Uniroyal Truck Tires
My Michelin Energy Z have been getting eaten up before the tread wears out. Darn potholes and construction zones are pretty hard on them. I switched to these and got the H rated. Two steers for the price of one Energy. Both are Michelin products. We shall see how the work. They don’t have an de-coupler grove, which I’m happy about. Any one try the RS2 from uniroyal?

Have not heard that name in years.

Bf Goodrichand and Uniroyal got swallowed up by Michelin. I moved from Michelins energy D to BFG 444 and they seem to hold up much better to the abuse. May try XDN2 next time on drives.

I remember years ago buying Sears brand tires because they were cheaper and made by Michelin.

Check the first two letters on the dot for manufacturer plant. Let me know. Michelin sources out Uniroyal name to be made by Nankang (TireCo.), Giti, and a couple more chinese makers. Unlike Bfg, Mich puts no technology into the uniroyal brand.

I put those on my old truck but not sure if it was the RS2. I got about the same wear on it as I did the Michelins that was on it before. They did go pretty fast though when an issue popped up on weird wear. So if you see something, make sure to get it aligned or fixed right away.Short Fuse EOD Thanks this.
