Even Alligators Stop At Loves

Deputy Dog better watch that tail.

 

I like best the alligator that stops in a basket on the table in front of me.

 

I’ve dodged 2 on 49 south this year. Both of them right at sunrise. 1 headed for Loves in Boyce other 1 leaving rest area south of Alexandria. Figured they were headed west for dry ground. Had a long way to go this year

 

Taste like Chicken ?

 

It kinda does. A bit chewy, with a slight hint of pepper. Not greasy at all.
It's good.

 

Similar. A bit more chewy. I haven't noticed the hint of pepper as @Antinomian has mentioned previously.

Had an alligator burger about ten years and it was quite good. It left me craving another for a long time.

 

That reminds me of the time I was wearing my alligator boots and a blonde Lady at the truck stop commented on them asking what kind they were, so I told her. Twenty minutes later after I left the truck stop, I seen her on the side of the road down there on alligator Alley and there was like five alligators laying on their backs! Asked her what the h*ll she was doing and she said she wanted to get a pair of them boots for herself, but hadn't found any yet!
