did a swap with a guy in saluda once. it was late so I think they were closed. Quiet spot though.

 

They'll pay you a bonus for crossing the George Washington or they used to anyways cuz New York city is not forced an typically they always asked a driver if they wanted to go or not. I've been out to Long Island with Bailey's on a couple times. If that's where ya actually go be careful backing in cuz ya back in off the street an the traffic trucks an cars alike don't care if they hit you or not.

 

Since it's been a year make sure you check with safety about getting your annual review done. They sometimes don't pay attention to it. So get it done an get whatever raise you got coming along with any bonuses.

 

They did not ask, nor did I question. In sure they don't give NY runs to just anybody. I'm not going to Long Island this time. I'll be in Maspeth in North Brooklyn.

 

If it requires crossing the George Washington I'd ask about the extra pay cuz it used to pay an extra 200 or 250 for doing it. New York City is not forced dispatch or it didn't used to be. If there's extra pay involved then you have it coming to you.
