so far so good. went to fargo sunday. flew up there (they paid) thrus morning they flew me to denver to get my truck. loaded me in pueblo co headed to beaumont tx via right by the house to get some more of my stuff. and ill just make a reset.
i know i will run alot and i am cool with that as long as i can stop by the house every few weeks. as long as they keep me happy i will work my *** off for them.
this new e-log thing is kinda cool but there is no way too cheat but if you want to run good clean logs its great.
not sure about the mack vision. i am loaded to 76,680 right now and it was slow going up there in CO. and those were lil hills not even the big steep grades. any word from yall about the mack vision...? (460 hp 13 speed 355 rears)

well i just signed on as a company man. i looked over the lease and worked out the pay vs mileage and was not impressed... but as a company man i can see real opportunity. years of towing and recovery and construction flat bed and heavy hauling works good for me. dont know about how bad... i know one driver is avg over 3200 a week. that sounds pretty good to me.
    but only time will tell.

Well i can tell you this from personal experiance that they will run you until you sign the contract! I was a driver there for over a year. Was a heavy haul driver and dont think there is anyone left there that knows whats going on! I have a very bad taste left in my mouth after leaving that company and would never recommend anyone else go to work there either but then again you will find out soon enough! They will use every excuse under the sun to keep you there as long as you conform! It was a much better company when Don was there but since he left it has gone to hell really fast from what i have heard! So best advise i could give you is run away and never look back!

  9. Ew wylie is the company that i got my cdl with in 1996 thay had a trucking school .20 cents per mile for 6 months to pay back costs of schooling. then .25 cents a mile.

It is so funny, this guy was in school with me. Went to the top guy and told him I was buying weed and smoking it at the motel. He wanted to be the company snitch and not have to worry about taking drug tests.

See when I arrived there I was a long hair.... hair was down to my butt I had made promise id cut it before I left with a trainer.

Well the next morning 8am thay call me up and tell me its UA day and iam first. Off I went to take the UA. Two days later The class starts one guy short. The guy who wanted to snitch out drivers. Seems he failed his and I passed mine...So much for his long haired hippys smoke weed.

The damage was done really for me I had no clue. The two guys running the class we can call them rodeo clown A and B, told me all about his ploy. Well everytime I hit a Termanal I was drug tested the entire time I worked there. Was crazy moment I pulled up thay ran out and had me pee. Thay never did find anything. Waste of my time and thay routed me it no the terminals often. Bet I took 20 tests there.

well as far as things go. the pay is ok. and i have complained a few times that they are way short on there miles. even telling them that PC miller is F*%$ on how far things are. hell Google maps is free and way more true to what you drive. i had to drive 130 miles farther following there dispatch then what they were paying. i complained and dispatch could only say they pay what the computer says. so i quit following dispatch routes.
as for things ... getting home to TX is the biggest problem. for a company with a terminal in TX they have no loads coming here. makes it hard to get home so i have to request it 2 weeks in advanced. i missed my kids b-day cus it took an extra week to get me home this time. and i have to be back home on the 2nd of july. if they mess that up ... ill be looking for a new company.

now i dont mind driving 62 on flat land but its a real killer when you are climbing hills loaded out at 70,000 lbs and have to wait for the speed to drop to 59 before the thing will start climbing again...

i know that the mack i drive has more hp then the newer trucks but its so de tuned that i cant keep the mpg steady. when empty i have logged 7.5 for a 1000 miles but when i am loaded i cant get it over 5.5. so i have asked if there is anything that can be done. they said company sop is 62 mph and that's that. but other drivers have told me they there trucks run 65 and 68 mph.

    well gripe session over.
the good news is my TM has fixed every issue i have told her about except the home time. not sure if this company is gonna work out but i am hope full.
one word of advice is if you work for them you should live near I-40 west of Nashville down to south Carolina unless you live in Houston TX .

ill keep up on the post when i get back.
