Something has got to give.
It’s only a matter of time before either shippers,drivers or both get fed up with the BS going on around Memphis and say “F*** you,we ain’t picking up or delivering in that city anymore!!”
It’s bad enough the towing companies are giving the city a bad name,now we have to worry about thugs trying to hijack loads.
MPD can’t seem to do jack**** about it,they can’t even stop a street takeover-that tells you everything you need to know!!!

 

I wonder how much they paid for that nice pickup truck.

May have been stolen to commit the robbery.

 

NOW we have to worry.....? That kind of thing has been going on in Memphis for YEARS. That towing company didn't give Memphis a bad name, they reinforced it, at most. That entire corner of TN/MS has been a cesspool since at LEAST 2002. I only cut it off there, because that was my earliest personal exposure to it.

 

Wonder if the container had a plastic seal, a flat metal seal, a cable seal, or a bolt seal?

 

I wouldn’t know, didn’t start driving until 2014(was still residing in Chicagoland in 2002).
