My husband worked for usxpress out of Goddard ks. He was promised a salary of 800 a wk. for the regional route. After a few mths.they told him they had over hired and he would have to go OTR. They also cancelled the guaranteed weekly pay. The route he was doing is local therefore he would not make anything anyways. He refused to go back OTR and found other work outside of driving.The other day,a year after he had quit he went to apply for credit and had to contact the credit reporting co. There he found that usxpress has a claim against him. We have no idea what it is for. I cannot beleive what some of these companies will do out of spite if you stop working for them. My other friend works for CR England. He has been there for 3 years. A couple years back he had a stroke while driving for them. He is not allowed to keep regular DR. appointments as they will not get him back. He (this week) had to catch a ride with someone else from Utah to Dallas Texas for his hometime. What a crock. He told them he was looking for another job and they told him after home time if he didnt come back they would write a bad report on his DAC and they can put anything they want.The DAC report needs to be done away with. These companies are spiteful and will do whatever they want. We need HOFFA back

They make a point of telling you in orientation how you can't sue USIS (DAC) or them for anything they report ...
Why would they bring that up?

They number of drivers hasn't increased in over a year and a half . How many did they put through orientation in that time ? Note the steadily increasing driver SEA ratings . It won't be long before their ISS-D goes from OPTIONAL to INSPECT .zentrucking Thanks this. -
thats why i drive for a small company, we only have 7 drivers and the owner drives when were busy. We might not be the biggest company and are always fighting to stay afloat. We have NO benefits cept holliday pay and vacation.
But MY COMPANY would never right anything like that on ur dac report. Its Time these BIG companys realize were human beings not robots. I'd say if ur not happy look for a smaller family company. U'd be surprised that they even call u by ur name

I agree.... the dac report is an unfair tool companies use to disqualify you from a job. Co's can put anything on them, and it costs a arm and leg to get it removed.. true or untrue...
Stumped.... Don't know where to go next..
