I have been thinking about applying at Climate Express. How often do you all get Dry van loads? They have a specific dry van division?

Honestly, for me it's been about 60/40 when it comes to the ratio for dry loads versus temp control loads. Most of the time I'm pulling a reefer trailer, but it's not all the time I'm hauling temp control. For instance, we load a lot of reefer trailers at Coke, you could run out to Denver and come back with sugar so thats 2 dry loads back to back with a reefer trailer. It isn't a specific dry van division, we just haul whatever is available.

Another benefit is the majority of the reefer loads are not frozen. There are times you'll have a Hershey load at 55 degrees in the fall and only hear it kick on once or twice for an entire day

I sure sent him a message too. I told him that I didn't think I'd have enough fuel to make to Checotah, so I'll just use London, OH. Lol. They resent my dispatch with the fuel info. Other drivers always said Rich leaves out information when he dispatches, and I've seen multiple instances of it. Sentence fragments, incomplete sentences, fuel stops in BFE, routes that don't exist, fuel stops on other routes, all I can do is laugh lololol

Good luck back at Schuster @Thrasher28 i always enjoyed your posts. Hoping you start a new thread or pick back up on your old one. One thing is for certain with this heat here lately those ice cream loads are gonna be working that reefer overtime.

Has anyone ever delivered to Boulter Middle school at 2926 Garden Valley Rd, Tyler, TX 75702? I've delivered to a few schools as a flatbed driver and they were never very truck friendly. Looking on Google this doesn't look terrible. Just posting here to see if anyone has any insights.
