I sent in my resume through indeed today to climate Express because they had a listing for the Milwaukee area. I'm not sure if I still want to continue working out of Wisconsin because I have a house in Grafton, Illinois and I might rather just work out there HQ in Union, Missouri. I might just need to take some time off and check things out in Missouri to make sure I want to make that move.

We go to Wisconsin a lot so that only means they'll be able to get you home under that 2 weeks out 2 days at home model they have. Grafton, IL is also very much in our running area so either one will work I would think. As long as you have a clean record, I don't see why they wouldn't bring you in.Peace_Maker, 57 model and Blagoje Thank this. -
I'm hauling plastic resin. It will be used to pave the running track at this school.
Just for the record, there was no mention of it being a tanker load beforehand. Product description just said totes.Last edited: Jul 3, 2024

Ahhh I see. You delivering Friday? After I drop in O' Fallon, I won't be doing a thing til Friday. I've gotta pick up Coke for Denver so my week got killed off early. The nature of holiday weeks. I gotta be in Denver 6 am Monday.Peace_Maker, 57 model and DreadfulDay Thank this.

Yeah I'm in pretty much the same situation. Deliver Friday at 9am. I'm only 4hrs from the drop now. You got the coke load I was hoping for lol. Do you think I'll get a nice long weekend run out of Texas? This is my first time down here with climate.Peace_Maker and 57 model Thank this.

You're down in Tyler on a holiday. It's anyone's guess which way you'll be going. It's probably safe to say they will reload you to get back up to the STL area so you'll be there when everything gets to full strength after this weekend. Texas isn't quite as predictable as it used to be when I first got here.Peace_Maker, 57 model and DreadfulDay Thank this.

I have a few more questions that anyone is welcome to answer:
1. Do the trucks have inverters?
2. Do they use driver facing cameras?
3. Are the APUs on the trucks electric or diesel?
4. They have a preferred fuel stop/truck stop?
5. Do they reimburse if you need to use paid parking?Peace_Maker Thanks this. -
There's a factory installed inverter that only works while the APU is running, which is diesel powered. Only outward facing cameras. We get fuel at Pilot and Flying J, but they do use fuel solutions, which they can become very anal about at times, but it's not so bad. They do not reimburse for paid parking, but the good thing is many of our customers have overnight parking or somewhere close by to park if a truck stop is unavailable.
Peace_Maker, 57 model and Blagoje Thank this. -
On the inverter question. You can buy one from them and have it installed if you need the inverter capability all of the time. And you can attach to it via Bluetooth on your phone to turn it on or off. If ya just need it during break times then ya just run a power cord from the app power outlet to the shore power outlet and all your outlets are live with the apu running.Peace_Maker and bryan21384 Thank this.

Thank you, that is very helpful to know as I am attempting to operate a medical device that I would prefer to have running all the time.
One other question I had is what could I potentially expect in terms of scheduling? I have done read for work before so I get that the work schedule can be variable but I suppose my question is is there any consistency in terms of working days or nights? Also are you expected to run split sleeper or anything like that?Peace_Maker Thanks this.
