So you all are mechanically inclined— the slide out on the Tepee quit working— replaced the solenoid that’s right before the motor that runs the slides— checked the motor and its good on oil—checked all the connections and they are getting plenty of juice— what am I missing?

I just replaced an entire AC system that was testing good for power and ground but wouldn't function. Found a frayed wire a (single strand) rubbing on a trans cooler line and that cured it. All I could figure was the CPC computer deal in that newer truck was sensing a short and not happy about it. It wasn't a simple fuse/relay setup like older rigs. No clue if that's of any help, but it was my most recent head scratcher.

Is the motor/drives moving at all?
Does it have any locks? Maybe one hanging up.

I’ve checked everything I can think of but I’m missing something and it’s probably something really simple and stupid, but those are the ones that hang me up and cost me money

When was the last time you moved it?
Are all the slide parts good and lubed?
Can you move the slide manually?

cke, Feedman, CAXPT and 3 others Thank this.

Here’s something else I just thought of, Is the unit level?

Any one to help you on a few things.
Have some one activate the switches while you have a volt meter on the motor connector.
See if you have power at the motor.

Last fall and I hit everything with PB Blaster— did it again the other day when this started— and I can crank it out— it’s something between the button control and the motor which is why I changed the solenoid out— everything has juice according to the meter— I’ll drag it down to my buddy and let him charge me a couple Benjamin’s to tell me what a dumb F I am
