@Professor No-Name maybe I missed an update or maybe I hadn’t asked in awhile, how’s Mrs. Professor?

It all depends on your dispatch. We have loads that deliver in the wee hours of the night. Others that drop during the day time. I do flip flop my schedule as needed. I run splits as needed. They don't really care how you run as long as you deliver on time. For the most part, you'll be planned adequately to be able to deliver on time. I had to deliver at 2 am this morning, and now I'm off for today. I'll pick up for Denver tomorrow and that'll deliver Monday at 6 am. Then the backhaul is anybody guess.

She is doing very well. They have taken her off all of her diabetes medication. She now has it under control with diet and exercise. She is currently waiting on the cardiologist to give her a letter for the dot doc so that she can get her physical renewed. Hopefully it won't be an issue the dot doc this year says that he wants to know why her stress test can't be done on a treadmill and has to be done via nuclear medicine. He seems to be making a big deal about the fact that she can't do it on a treadmill. And if that's a problem there will be a lot of drivers out of work because any cardiologist will tell you that once you've had h e a r t issues you don't do the treadmill no more. But she is ready to come back to work as soon as she gets her DOT physical taken care of. And then we will go back to running team someplace.

I'm so glad she's doing well my brother. I'm a bit surprised that they give her a hard time about the treadmill test. They had me do the nuclear test, and honestly, it felt like it was hard on me than if I had just walked on the treadmill for some time. Your boss don't have team routes or is the hopper business pretty much a solo ordeal?

2nd life update. Got pre-approval going for finding our new home. So until we find our place an successfully bid an close on the property I'll be staying right where I'm at job wise till that's all done. We're ok'd for a 100k so far. I just got to upload all the documents next weekend to get the pre-approval letter and then we'll look to start bidding on houses. The approval is conditioned on current income and job so I don't wanna jeopardize that. We will be looking in Texas for sure. Oklahoma an Missouri are secondary options.

We could run team with the hopper maybe for awhile but the runs wouldn't work if we move to Texas. And yea that nuclear test scares the heck outta me when she does it. It really wipes her out.

Congratulations on the approval man! You'll love that no state income tax in Texas if you go there!

That nuclear test is serious. I definitely understand the discomfort there. It feels like it's an outer body experience or something.

I just pay federal. I live in Tennessee so there's no state income taxes for me.
