The pl259 ripped the coax, just get it replaced.
Another Canadian driver and mike5511 Thank this. -
so I am looking to do this myself in the truck. Is there a video you could direct me to that would show how to accomplish in the T680 dual antenna application?
Was also wondering if I might have an easier time of it by putting a 2 bnc to pl259 jumper in instead? I believe adding in another connection point could cause issue but am looking for the easy novice fix.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -

Either take it by a shop and replace the connector, or you could cut it off and replace it yourself for under $5...Another option is just order a new Co-Phase antenna wiring harness and just replace the whole thing...

installed a spare radio. taped up the break in the jacket. works just fine. took the main 29 ltd classic in to a "local" shop this morning.

Can you guys link Some solid YouTube channels for the novice / beginner?
I'm looking to do a temporary as needed setup system for my personal pickup truck for when my wife and I go on road trips. I really don't need a CB running around in town , which is most of my pov driving , though I wouldn't mind having it for longer trips
And I've yet to come across an in truck repair videofor a co-phased antenna system to replace that connector.
I made one attempt to have our shop take care of it at a p.m. but I'm not sure the shop supervisor cares for me very much . it's not an out of service item so I may need to go over his head to the shop manager who was a former driver and understands.
so any help you guys can provide that way as far as something I might be able to do in the truck l would appreciate it.Last edited: Jul 24, 2024

What model and year pickup?
second the way you fix that connector is to replace the harness, that harness isn’t properly setup. This is what I meant.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
