    Hope all yall are safe! Was driving past Union on I-44 when the tornado warning came around for the Union/Washington area. You know it's serious when the long hood, flatbedders were taking the shoulder underneath the highway 100 overpass and wipers can't keep up at 30mph

    It's something that I heard about, and had to try and recreate it. With some tweaks to a normal meatloaf it comes out amazing! My family lives it. It's one of their top requests when I'm home.

    Oh yeah sleep right at the entrance off to the side, that's my usual routine. It's also a Kwik Trip around the block there. You can see it from Coke.

    Oh wow, I just got back to 44. I'm at that newer TA in Mt. Vernon, MO. Im.glad I managed to stay behind the rain....it sure came down between Monte Vista and Lamar yesterday Monday evening.

    That's a nice truck stop. They have really good fresh food during the day. I'd rather stop there than Joplin 44, I think.

    Between this TA, that Big Apple, and Hoods at the 61, those are my favorites on this part of 44. I'll eat good at any of those spots!!!
