R u still on keiths board? If so that explains all ur woes. If ur already off his rookie board and still experiencing hometime issues get with marty means. Keep in mind that they will not b able to get u in ur town for ht everytime unless ur near ft worth, phoenix sapulpa or mira loma.

Yea I've been here about 5 yrs now and I can say I've been pretty lucky with the shop. I don't use it a whole lot, except for the 90 day insp or warranty work back when I still had warranty on trk. Overall I just get work done like PM at petro or speedco. I don't go into yard unless I have to like get envelopes and efs chks and so on. When they do my 90 day and if they find something, they usually tell me what they find and I can opt out if its not dot related.

Alan... we're here and alive in Phoenix at our drop, thanks for checking in on us!

LMB that wasn't us in Van Horn, we took I-40 through to get here from Stilwell, Ok.

    Wowsers
... lots of stuff going on lately. I'll agree with LMB... it is the start of the busiest time of the season, but having said that we all do need our down time. I had to stay on top of it to get our last time off... and I would appreciate any tips on how to make it smooth as possible in the future.

Randy does run hard and he is creative at times, but I will say that if it becomes a safety issue we WILL request a swap. Losing our lives or taking someone else's over a load of say COOKIES... or ANYthing else for that matter just is not worth it. We don't want our retirement home to be Federal prison! :biggrin_2556: If I see Randy is over the "safety line"... I shut him down... LOL.:biggrin_25525:

Fr8tskr... I am sorry to hear you're going through this again... and I am sure there are others as well. It is frustrating when you have been running hard for weeks and weeks... and need/want to get home for family, friends, appts. and to just plain RELAX. Pass those tips on you guys... the more we know the better we can do our jobs!

Not liking the paperless logs thing.... no need to say more on that. :biggrin_25513:

Vette... That was me that left a message the other night. Thought we saw you # Sky City... my phone went dead after that while we went in to eat and chat with another JCT driver... Virgil from Randy's orientation group. Virgil is a very nice guy and I was glad we finally got to see him again and catch up.

We are still very happy with JCT. We've had a few minor misunderstandings, but nothing to quit over, just a matter of who to talk to about what and how, etc.

OK... ATBS. right now... not happy with them... not sure if we will continue to deal with them after our taxes are done. What we have ran into with the people we have working on our account is that they simply do NOT listen, they do NOT take the time to go through thoroughly the paperwork we sent in to them that would answer most all their questions. I'm talking with a manager... we'll see what happens, but in good faith I could not recommend them right now. I'll let you know what the end result is.

Dryver, Dryver, Dryver.... I still haven't thought of a "proper" response... LOL. I might just have to let that one slide.... this time. :biggrin_25525: Strawberry Rhubarb Pie... that would do it... LOL!

No pre plan yet... so no idea yet which way we're going, but guessing since we are in AZ could be ahhh... PRODUCE? Better stock up on the sandwiches and drinks!:biggrin_255:

Hey... question for ya'll... when are the safety bonuses given out?

My advice is search 4 ur own. When the ones that get the radio they most likely charge an arm and a leg and do a so so job.

I myself do my own bookkeeping and taxes. It really isn't that hard. Get urself a file folder and each month organize ur receipts. Its even easier if u have a computer with excel or quickbooks. Just enter all ur receipts and ur set basically the same stuff a cpa does for u.

    fr8tshkr Thanks this.

As for the ATBS.... I can't say that I'm too pleased with them either. What exactly do they do that we don't already? I finally got an email from them that I could read and understand. Something with the format I guess, there was words on top of words. Go figure! Nice that they waited 3 days before deadline to let me know what I owe lol

That is what we are thinking. I did upgrade our Quicken to the home business version, but not sure if that is the way to go vs just using an excel spreadsheet... the spreadsheet would be less work it seems though it won't download the info into a tax program. Do you use excel, Alan?
