I find it interesting I saw this comment a few minutes ago. Last night I was talking to a guy who was sent home from orientation because he did not come prepared and will be going back at a later date. He asked me why does it seem a carrier wouldn't get too deep into the orientation until the urine testing is done. I explained 382.301(a) to him. I then told him very few carriers use the exception found there. They can't allow you to do your driving test until they get these results back.
I am not attempting to be pedantic with this reply. It sometimes astounds me that people seem to not understand this.
