I'll remember that for next time. The trailer I picked up had a blown airbag so the load was rescheduled to a later date. I'm headed to Denver now.

I decided to not move forward in my application process with Climate Express because there were just too many things that would not likely work out as I had hoped.
I wanted to commend everyone in this thread for being so helpful and providing an abundance of information on this company as well Lisa the recruiter at Climate Express for being very upfront and honest with me in disclosing all the details that helped me to make the best decision for myself and also not putting myself in a position with that company that would leave none of us happy long-term. From the outside looking in I would say it is a very well run organization and I can understand why they've been so successful if this is how they work with potential candidates.Lumper Humper, dwells40, bryan21384 and 2 others Thank this. -
Ahh dang. Those airbags have been the thing this week. I was headed towards Springfield on Tuesday when I saw one of our drivers are the Flying J in Dodge City, KS. We both got fuel there, but he had multiple air bags blown, he had trailer 3825. Basically, he couldn't move. He told me last night he sat there 10 hrs waiting on roadside and parts. Thank goodness they gave us 3 days to run that load. For me it was 1100 plus including deadhead from Denver area. He was coming from Colorado Springs I want to say.
On a side note, I think I'm doing an impression of you. They have me going to Sanger, TX for Saturday morning. I had a forgettable week mileage wise so maybe I can kick off a better week. July has been a lackluster month anyway. I know next year, I'm taking vacation in July lol.Knucklehead, Lumper Humper, 57 model and 1 other person Thank this. -

Does anyone know of parking near or at Coca Cola in Baton rouge LA? I feel like its probably too late in the evening for me to get parking at a truck stop close by it. I'm about 1.5hrs away from there and it's 7PM. I Have just enough time to finish my day at Coke of they allowed overnight parking
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
They didn’t last time I was there many years ago. May have changed since then.DreadfulDay Thanks this. -
The last time I went to Baton Rouge, I parked on the shoulder right before the entrance. About 3 or 4 trucks can park there, and I crept in because I had a 6 am. I forgot what highway it is, but they won't bother you for parking there.Lumper Humper, 57 model, DreadfulDay and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm on a "hot load"," as Robert put it. Gotta drop Coke in St. Cloud tomorrow. I made to Clearwater to the Petro. I pulled into a spot, and let me tell you, it was tighter than a virgin. Lol. I hope like hell that this Bison Transport in front of me is gone because I would hate to have to back out in the morning.
