Peters & Keatts dropped Aspen and has Brandt now. I haven't been to Lewiston to stop and take a look. Former salesman there (Western States Cat now) there says they're nice.
-
Yeah, a Peters & Keatts ad popped up and that's where I saw one. Brandt trailers look to have similarities with Aspen. I wonder if some of Aspen's folks are now with Brandt?
Anyway, they look decent but I have no idea how they compare on price.Feedman, cke, Deere hunter and 2 others Thank this. -
I've had a Brandt M400 for a couple years now.
Overall it seems like a fine trailer. Only issue I've consistently run into is the Leveling valve arm likes to flip if I over extend the bags. More of a problem for the local guy who has a low fifth wheel and has to run the trailer in its highest settings to avoid dragging. -
Brandt bought out Camex a few years ago and took over their operations. They're using the Camex shop and property.
I think Aspen's shop is just one or two streets over from them too.Left Lane Wayne, Albertaflatbed, Feedman and 3 others Thank this. -
Dang, trying to remember the name now but there was another brand that looked similar to Aspen that I found a number of years ago. Kelly, or Gerry, or something like that.
-
Gerry's is probably the one you're thinking of.
Peerless is another relatively popular brand out west. -
Yep. Based out of Penticton I believe.

We had a new trailer sales lot open awhile back and I stopped in to talk to him. While asking about different end dumps, he would say, yeah those guys worked for XYZ and started ABC, and this was on a couple different brands. The way he talked it's not uncommon in the trailer world.Feedman, cke, Deere hunter and 2 others Thank this.
