Most companies never tell you all the details, and if you start asking they get ####ey.They don't want you to ask about pay for sweeping out their trailers, withholding a weeks or two pay, escrow up to $2500. trucks speed at 68 mph, in-cab cameras, deducting your last pay for orientation/motel expenses, fines for DOT violation, fines for speeding, listening devices in the cab, forced dispatch, fines if you don't stay out 21 days, forced unloading, none or ridiculous detention pay, layover pay, breakdown pay, paying out of pocket for tolls to be reimbursed later, no pay for watching safety videos, forced local work, pay for having their truck washed, routing you and fines if your off route, limited fuel stops, fines if paperwork sent in late, mandatory deductions for employment insurance,, etc, etc. Some contracts are 20 pages of fines and must/must not do.Easy for drivers to not ask/overlook all this until they get hit with it.

Did they ever actually deduct any of those fines or any of that they claimed they would from your paychecks? You're in Texas man. Texas doesn't play that nonsense.
