    what commie state was that in? Only time i have ever heard of unloading was more then 10k over in CT, 1100 is nothing, overweight is legal for a fee

    The overweight is not CSA violation, but OOS is. Don't have a clue how this works?

    It's not out of service if you can drive away is my understanding. Of course expecting cops to be anything other than revenue generators is a waste of time. Get a lawyer, fight it. Get the OOS off your record if possible.

    Overweight isn't a big deal, sounds like the cop was a ######## but that's redundant, they all are.

    I've hit scales at 16,000 over and like 6k over axle. I was allowed to continue on with a 4k dollar fine. But it was assessed to the company because my idiot dispatcher actually texted me to get the job done anyways when I hit the legal limit and I showed that text to the coop cops. Got lucky there.
