Ya know I asked myself the same question and the honest answer is yes to some degree but it isnt because I'm picky about where I run or even what I drive or how long I'm out ...its because I don't much debt and I don't have to work nearly as hard as I used to ,so yes I've gotten a bit lazy .

I don’t blame you. In the last 2 weeks I’ve been told to turn off my logbook and logout so that I can get fuel to a station because the manager of our company got greedy and let the station go too long and they ran out of fuel, and also got Covid last weekend and told him I might be out a few days. That lasted 1 day and had a 12 hour dispatch waiting for me. Got told we just can’t take a sick day. Guy doesn’t care a bit about drivers.

I've even toyed with going back to Morehouse but with my former outbound dispatcher gone I just don't think I could deal with his replacement.Speed_Drums, Dale thompson, Lonesome and 3 others Thank this. -
Best of Luck @bzinger. I only drove seven years and was glad to be done with it. In fact , today is three years since I retired.
