Thank you! I will let the next road service know this. One thing, I didn’t see any engine protection warning or anything.

lol! I’m not one of those guys. I just rebuild the head of my engine that was $14k I have 30k credit card and about $10k cash but a blown engine with down time after 6 months ago rebuilding the head is a little too much for a one truck guy that is trying to build a business. Also I just came off vacation so yes my cash flow is tight. I’m leased on to good company and work hard to make a livingRideandrepair, ibcalm19, TheLoadOut and 3 others Thank this.

Well I am waiting with baited breath to see what the actual problem is. I am on the @AModelCat @Big Road Skateboard and @Rideandrepair team.
Please keep us posted on your situation. Prayers for a fast and less expensive solution.Siinman, Rideandrepair, AModelCat and 2 others Thank this. -
Thanks. But when I parked the truck I put it in neutral. Am I understanding your response correctly?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Easy if you got bearing problems the caps are black from heat….you smelled it when pan was off. Save money on less experience pay me now or pay more later it’s a simple deal
Siinman, Sons Hero, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
I will let everyone know. Thank youRideandrepair Thanks this.

Yeah ain’t that the truth. The oil pan had no debris and there wasn’t any smell.Siinman, Rideandrepair, wore out and 1 other person Thank this.

I've seen engines run minutes without oil pressure and not cause immediate damage
I can't fathom that it happened here. Battery cables also run in that area. Possibly a damaged or broken + or - cable. You'd still hear the solenoid switch, but no movement.
Hopefully this new guy has some experience and common sense.Siinman, Rideandrepair, Feedman and 2 others Thank this. -
An experienced hand would have taken a set of bars and checked backlash and thrust on each rod as well as crank while pan was off. Would have zeroed in on the burnt smell and hot cap immediately. There would also be shiney flakes. Since there wasn’t and you did not smell anything burnt you’re most likely ok.Siinman, Sons Hero, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this.
