Remember Cheech & Chong ?

I met them both in 2008. Corpus christ airport. Got autographs. Chong drew a characiture with his. Cong, real nice guy. Creech, not so much.

 

Yeah I do! What's weird is now Cheech is playing an undercover detective on Nash Bridges...

 

Here's another crazy Creech and Chong related story that they are not in. I pulled into chicken express in comfort tx recently, there was a greyhound broke down, so all the passengers were waiting around. I noticed after I turned around from ordering, that there sat the spitting image of Creech, but right out of the 70s complete with the hat. I told him " wow, you look just like.." he said yeah I know. Fellow passengers were hovering around him smiling. I told him my story ( posted above) how I've met them before. And he joked somewhat uncomfortably how yeah that's my dad. I thought later that either he does a tribute act, and or he had his fellow passengers duped into thinking he was real, and I blew his cover.

Todays yutes could use a Big Bamboo album.

 

For the younger crowd, the Big Bamboo album came with a rolling paper roughly the size of one page of a newspaper.
