Hey all!! I'm new to the forum, but what I've read has been very informative. I'm looking for a driving job in or around Mt. Pleasant, TX. I've been out of the loop for about 2 years, and I'm trying to get back out on the road. I have a clean MVR and I've ordered my DAC to make sure there aren't any surprises there. I have an excellent work ethic and will work hard for whoever hires me. I have van and reefer experience. Hometime is not an issue for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Anybody hiring in Northeast TX?

Welcome to the forum and first off look into some of the bigger companies that have APU's on their trucks. Did you try Baldwin Distribution out of Amarillo.??

I've tried them. My experience isn't recent enough. Been driving for an owner operator friend of mine but he's not verifiable so i don't really count him as experience. Especially since he sold the truck and no tax forms because he paid me straight cash. My buddy up in Sulphur Springs said I'm probably gonna have to start over.

I found out that there are two issues on my dac that are gonna hold me back. I found it out through CRST that Knight Transportation and KLLM put derogatory comments on there. So I'm anxiously awaiting my dac so i can start the dispute process.

most decent companies don't give the dac too much credit. Of course you don't work there, something happened and some companies are known for hitting the dac. Unless it's real bad I wouldn't be too concerned.
I'm an owner op and I run out of Woodville, TX. All I can say is good luck. Freight in TX sucks so bad I can only afford to come home every 4 weeks. I loose two weeks revenue just to take one week off because I end up running out for free. I'm looking foradriver but I can't afford to hire out of TX even though Id love to have the truck close by -
You have a Walmart DC in town there, look to see who's running into it alot
