Salt Lake Area Schools/Companies

This is NOT a recommendation, I'm a wannabe also. Ask the veteran drivers for recommendations. I do know that Central Refrigerated has a school in SLC.

Go to a real truck driving school not a company school

 

No, I haven't but I will be going to school somewhere (?) by the end of next month or very early June. Because I haven't been to a school and I haven't been out there in the real trucking world, I hesitate to advise or recommend. I only know what I've read! There is a huge thread about Central Refrigerated.

There you go! Close to 10,000 posts....happy reading. (Sounds like a huge task but you'll be surprised how fast you can get through the posts)

 

When you offer up Central Refrigerated...don't forget to include they are part of the Swift group...but from seeing what is moving on the highways...Cent Ref is at least moving, especially across I-80 today...slowly doing 35 through the 55 construction zone...probably a brand new student scared to death(I am guessing as he was all by himself in the front with a white knuckle death grip on the steering wheel)!
