The only time I got a green light with drivewayze was when I was 60k or less. I usually ran 100k.

My steers weigh 13,500 when loaded. One year later. They're not cupping. When it comes to rain or snow. I'd rather have heavy steers for traction over sliding straight when you're trying to turn. I hate how they bulge though. You think they're going flat but they're not.

Moving 5th wheel forward moves weight to steers. Not drives.

Right dose very little for drives. But rarely gross over 60k so I really don't know just guessing about all of it.

I called them and asked. They said there's a weight in motion that triggers if weight is 80k. And I told them sometimes I'm lighter. They had no idea why it would red-light.

I used to get green everytime. But those 2 scales also got some tech upgrades. Towards the end of my time hauling to that direction. Once the digester opened up. I never had to go up there again.

The weight on the truck isn’t going to change, sliding the 5th wheel only moves weight between the steer axle and the drives. Move 200 to the steer and it takes 200 off the drive axles.

If you’re not running around close to being grossed out then you can get by with running light on the steers. When you are close to grossed out is when carrying more than 12 up front makes things easier because it gives you wiggle room on your drives and trailer.

5-6.5 depending on whether I’m local/road and heavier/lighter, I hook to quite a few different types of wagons for different types of work so my mileage is a little more sparatic then a regular guy running the flat lands with a dedicated trailer

all of New England minus CT will give atleast 99k permits
