    Oh Boo Hoo... :biggrin_2553:

Anyways, no I wasn't the one asking about the linear but I was the one that said I had it placed behind my passengers seat and I haven't had a problem out of it so far. It hasn't affected anything in my truck that I know of.

Clantonman, I think you know that I don't think you're a child, or anything else, I think you're a normal guy that likes talking on the radio. I DO think you don't know what it's like to drive a truck all day, every day. The CB is a tool for us, and I for one get nervous about turning it off for fear of missing hearing about a backup or accident down the road. So when someone does something like play music I don't want to hear on the CB, it's just something that makes my day longer and more stressful. I'm going to tell you too with about 95% certainty that your radio DOES sound like crap when you're playing music on it. For one thing, the speaker on your cellphone isn't good for playing music through, and your cb microphone wasn't made to reproduce music coming through a speaker. It's rare to hear music on the CB that is much more than intelligible. Anyway, the next time you want to play music over the air, keep in mind that when I'm coming through your neck of the woods, I very well may have already driven 600 miles that day, and dealt with a jerk at a steel mill and bad car drivers and traffic in Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, and Birmingham, and now I have to listen a version of "Empire State of Mind" that sounds like it's coming through a handheld radio with a blown speaker amplified through a cheap megaphone.

Spoken like a true man of ignorance...

Well Dave....When we agree...We certainly agree.

You are part of the problem and as always...No one is impressed.

You are right, I am 26, but I don't act like a 12 year old... and I don't rely on my cb to try to impress people because I think it's stupid. Yes, I do have a linear in my truck but it's not so I can go to a truck stop and try to key down on people or anything. I have actually never tried to do something "ignorant" like that. I have a linear because it helps me get out further when talking to people that are a further distance away. I am not concerned with who has the biggest radio. I am far from ignorant.

This particular incident that I am talking about took place a long time ago. I have had a CB for over a year now and this happened not long after I had it. I personally wouldn't do anything like that because though I am not a trucker, I understand how that can be annoying, especially after someone has been driving long hours all day. So, sorry. No hard feelings I hope.

I might be in the minority but, I would consider jamming a channel with music as ignorant.

That's why I was trying to explain that was when I had first got it and was messing around on it. I know now after needing a CB for myself while driving that it just pisses everybody off and I don't do that because I wouldn't want somebody else doing it while I am trying to use it either.

    Priceless!

    Let's recap...Just in case we missed anything.:yes2557:

This is in the current tense...

    As is this..

    As is this..

    As is this...

    Not the radio...The operator!
    ______________________________________________________________

    Oh look!

This is in the current tense as well...

Funny...It seems as though you're acting like one right now.
First you tell us something that you think will impress or get a rise out of us, Then when it backfires on you and you realize that you look like a fool, You backpedal and try to make it sound like we somehow misunderstood what you were saying or perhaps WE got the context screwed up.

Immaturity is a ##### because it shows when you least expect it.

YES! It is.Try to remember that next time you decide to..."get my cell phone out and play music from it."

Your words, In case you forgot...

"Sometimes if I am really really bored, I will get my cell phone out and play music from it."

We're still waiting for some sort of proof of that last line...

    A year?
That is not "a long time ago"

    Wow, I'm convinced...:biggrin_25518::yes2557:
