Here at Linde we have xm on the radio so it's just like any vehicle stereo set up.
As far as phones go a cradle mount and 1 touch operation is allowed.
Phone in hand will get you fired.

You’re allowed to connect to Bluetooth and listen to whatever you want. Just don’t touch the phone while driving. And you can’t have a headset either or be talking to someone while driving.
Only teams are allowed to have one earbud to listen to music so that they don’t disturb the sleeping driver with the radio. -
I already have the 3 years spotless driving record. So that's why I'm going KAG to get experience and hopefully offset some of the job hopping. I guess time will tell. I'm a very safe driver and can follow safety protocols. Thx

Good info. Thx

I don't text and drive now. I believe in being safe. I was more referring to things like the Redshirt hiding in the bushes (from what I've read) and firing somebody for not re-doing the cones for pulling the truck up half a trailer length.viper822004 Thanks this.

My thoughts exactly!!

You don’t get fired for that but you do lose your bonus for that quarter. And yes, they do watch you. If it’s not the supervisor, it’s the regional safety guy. They’re out there also making sure you follow proper procedures and safety

I'm totally cool with that. Having XM on the radio is awesome, and if I want to listen to a podcast it only takes one tap to start it playing.
That would definitely take some getting used to. But on the bright side, that would basically force dispatch to send everything over the satellite rather than the dreaded "call me" text message.viper822004 Thanks this. -
Better get in line unless your doing cylinder work everyone and their moms wants weekends off
viper822004 Thanks this. -
I honestly never put out cones. Reason why is because often the trailer I had. The chain or bungee cord on the cones. Was so #### tight. I couldn't remove a single onescythe08 and viper822004 Thank this.
