    Oh yeah Double Nickel is shut down and boarded up. So Chubby's is an actual restaurant or its inside the truck stop? It looks like they opened a new bar and grill type place across from the Pilot, where the old KFC/Taco Bell was.

    How did ya make it? I just parked at the J in Salina. All the way out time. I'm following the rest of the fleet (seemingly) to Coke in Denver.

    Well woke up to a dead battery because my apu stopped working last night. Luckily I had jumpers and was able to deal with it quickly. Got in a door right at 7 and was out by 8.
    I'm actually here at salina as well. I cut my day short since I'm already going to be getting a 34 in at moberly waiting for this appt.

    Ahhh ok, I need to get some more jumpers. Left the ones I had at home with the Mrs. I need longer ones for sure. You were parked in front of the fuel island? I had gone inside to do some laundry.

    Chubby's is just a small place. Sucks about the Double Nickel. Good food for truckers is getting harder and harder to find. Glad I got off the road. I was up to 280 while driving - eating junk and drinking pop. I've lost 60# since April. I doubt I'll be going back.

    I feel you on that....I got up to 260 myself I got down to 209, but now I'm settled at about 230 with this protein diet I have, but it's a comfortable 230, not like the 230 the last time where it felt heavy. I don't drink soda and beer very much at all anymore lol and those 2 were the main culprits.

    I got this set of jumpers 3yrs ago from autozone, heavy duty, 20ft long, meant for trucks. All the car and motorcycle drivers I've had to use them on compliment them lol. This was the first time I've had to use them for a truck.

    That was me in front of the pumps. I'm still here. I'm supposed to meet another driver in st Joseph to swap trailers at 7pm.
