Maybe I should rethink this whole Cryo gig. Seems it may take years to get a weekends off schedule. I'm divorced and don't see my boys (10 & 12) during the week much if at all, as I live about 50 minutes from them. So the weekends are when I have them. I was willing to sacrifice the 3 weeks out/1 week home for a year or so with KAG to build up a little Cryo experience. Then I was thinking about coming back to a local Cryo company. I want to do Cryo, but maybe the timing isn't right for where I'm at in my life at the moment. Just thinking out loud

Have you ever considered microbulk so that you can be home daily? Linde has an opening in Ft. Worth for their NuCO2 division.

CDL B Day Driver job in Fort Worth, TX with Linde

Oh wow. Didn’t know Linde owned them. They’re always hiring in Waxahachie, Tx too. But it’s not the same though. You’ll be delivering to restaurants with a little hose. and CO2 is not cryo liquid.

Can you explain more in detail about the very extensive background check? Just curious. I have some trucking job hopping. That's the only thing I would be worried about. Everything else is legit

I got a Top Secret /SCI clearance in the Army. They were contacting family, friends, neighbors, a former teacher I had, etc. Some of those reference meetings were done by phone calls, while others were done in person. I myself had like a 2 hour in person interview. They looked at my credit, financial info, obviously criminal history, my travels outside the US, etc. I've never had my background combed thru so in depth before. While I had all my ducks in a row, it was a little unnerving knowing someone was sizing me up like that. It took a couple months if I remember correctly. But I was cleared for it at the end.

Because of criminal history? What are they checking for on a DOD contractor?
