If you’re dead set on having the weekends off and want to be local. I’d see if there’s a cylinder yard around you, it’s tuff work compared to the bulk side but most of those guys are Monday-Friday day shifts.txboy10 Thanks this.

I spent five years at AirProducts and wasn’t even close to the weekends off. Been at Airgas for over two years and don’t have the weekends off. Matter of fact I’ve had the same days off since and start time since AirProducts .txboy10 and viper822004 Thank this.

Southern Pines Trucking. I did enjoy my time there. How it worked is that you get flown to wherever you last left the truck. Then deadhead with either a trailer or bobtail to where a customer needs you. It was minimum 3 weeks out 1 week home. Company paid flights to and from the truck.txboy10 and viper822004 Thank this.

MGG was the best job I've ever had in Trucking. Knowledgeable bosses who don't Micro manage everything you do after about a year. I was fly team in Allentown PA doing NYC runs and it was great. I don't think I can post in this thread anymore though, per the Mods, because some deemed my posts abrasive. I'll PM you my cell numbertxboy10 Thanks this.
