Still got about a pound of taco meat that's already made.

On the strength of the recommendation of the WIIS membership, I tried the Old El Paso taco shells.

My take:

More structurally robust than Ortega shells, but not as flavorful.

Safe working load of said shell is the controlling factor for me, though, so.......OEP it will be.

 

Yeah, Tuesday and Wednesday nights were around 56.

Not anymore, tho. Heat's back, in spades........92 by Sunday. Yuck.

 

I like the soft street taco ones and double them up— they pack a much heavier load and then you can scrape up the spoils with corn chips

 

Can you provide me with a brand name? I'll look for them my next trip to the store.
