Crooked steering wheel=going down the road straight and the wheel is to the right 30-45 degrees, again not really noticeable on an old school wheel, most definitely noticeable on this new school crap.

Here’s the gem of a steering wheel, so imagine it not straight while you’re going straight, it’s quite the mind screw! IMG_1402.png

You can detach the steering wheel and turn it on the splines to get it straight. If you still need it just a little bit more straight you can turn the steering wheel straight Holden in place with a spring attachment tool that rests between seat and wheel. It will hold the steering wheel in place and you can adjust the front and alignment to the position.just did this two days ago.

    Crooked steering wheel.

Truck drives but steering wheel isn't.
Could be left or right. 1* - 180*

    Or.

Truck drives with a slight pull causing the steering to be off center. From the pull. Some people actually say it's Crooked with no realization the vehicle pulls.

I think you're the one that replied on one of my posts about alignment issues on a Volvo. All I can say is my condolences if you're restarting the same issue on another truck lol.

I know what you mean though. Even if it drives straight as an arrow, the off centered wheel just eats at ya.

I was tempted to just pay out of pocket for an alignment at any of the shops I saw when I searched the forum

@snowwy the vehicle doesn’t pull, the steering wheel is crooked, drive a new anthem and you’ll know what I’m talking about, I know it seems like a stupid question but I’m not so dumb that I don’t recognize the difference between counteracting a pull and a crooked wheel. @Thrasher28 good news is, the 2025 has much better steering characteristics, pretty dang straight, once I get this wheel straight, should be good to go.

I do……and the initial question was only inquiring if other manufacturers face the same issue. The quality of a mack isnt what it used to be, I started 21 years ago in an econodyne that was older than me, and aside from the lack of AC in that truck, I’d take it any day over this new stuff.

Yes I have them, only one truck in the last set had a wheel offset, it was on the list to get fix before we take it and the dealer sent it to an alignment shop and it was perfect. All they did was move the wheel itself and then adjust the drag link,
