i just got enrolled at roadmaster and i start monday. Gloria was my recruiter. She has answered all of my questions and I am pretty confident in the school. Well have to see how it actually turns out though. I was born and raised here and have heard pretty good things as far as getting a job. i hope it worksout for you, and me for that matter haha.

 

do you know what part of slc you are going to live in? and just so you know, roadmaster is just a school to get your cdl. there is no freight movement involved. i would put central to be quite a bit smaller than swift and cre. however, it isnt a small ma and pop trucking company. they have quite the fleet.

 

I worked in Riverton for a few years. If you plan on Roadmaster school, you will be about a 20 minute drive. I will gladly keep you updated on how things go. Im working finances out as I have been unemployed for 6 months. If the ira check comes trough I should be starting this monday. Roadmaster is expensive as hell, but seems like you get what you pay for. I plan on working for May, and it's one of the companies roadmaster does job placement for.

 

Central Refr and CRE are about the same size (tractor count)...and Central Ref, is actually part of the Swift family....used to be Dick Simon, but dirty politics put in the grasp of Jerry Moyes and Swift.

CR England is out there in Salt Lake....school in hazelwood mo will train for CR England. school is MTC
