A/C is not consistent with temp. It will blow 80 then 50. It does have the PCC system, and searching the internet, you can’t find anything on it. There is no power at the plug coming from the PCC module to the yellow wires to the temp sensor that plugs into the blower motor (see attached photo of diagram) but I cannot find anywhere what the #### PCC system actually does to know if that temp sensor would make a difference to the whole a/c system or not. Please help, hubby gets a little irritable when he is hot. I do sell truck parts for a living so I think he thinks I should know it all and I definitely do not!

I am guessing here....temp sensor is a mercury fill switch. It's connected to the blower motor so that when you turn on and off the blower motor, it turns off the sensor/switch. The switch itself will open and close as the mercury expands and contracts depending on the cab temperature. When it is closed, it will send current to engage the ac compressor clutch. So no doubt it's important to the whole system. I think temp sensors can come and go working. I had the same problem in my truck and it was the temp sensor. The PCC looks like nothing much more than a link between the temp control and actuator, even though the University of Google calls it a microprocessor controller.
