McLane is only hiring experienced drivers right now.
At least you applied though; that's the way to try.

3 mos. out of cdl school and still not working. Better get something quickly, because if you don't many companies will require a refresher course.

TMC -- Philly, PA -- no prev experience req'd
DON'T CALL FIRST -- submit a COMPLETE application, instead -- wait 4-5 days -- call recruiting (if they don't call you first) -- then ask about the status of your app.
My co-worker sez you will likely be home more each week with TMC, than with Maverick.
With TMC -- you will drive some of the best-looking flatbed equipment on the road.

Swift Transportation -- Philly, PA operating area -- no prev experience required
DON'T CALL FIRST -- submit a COMPLETE application, instead -- wait 4-5 days -- call recruiting (if they don't call you first) -- then ask about the status of your app.
Note that...with Swift, TMC....or other starter carriers....your pay is based mainly on experience. Thus -- training pay will be on the low side -- but this is temporary.
Still....don't expect $100k your first or 2nd year of trucking.
During that time -- you are really learning all about how to drive a big rig.

I'll echo what these guys are saying...just get on wherever you can and start learning how to operate out here. That way you'll have some experience once things open up a bit.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Prime Inc. refrigerated is a decent starter company. Many drivers stay there for years.
