Maxforce 13 fuel issues

Thank You Heavyd, This truck is not working any jobs so getting a load on it and finding someone to do a test and snapshot may take awhile. May I ask what software is required for that test on a 2011/12 Maxxforce 13?

 

We use Navistar Engine Diagnostics.

 

So what was the problem as I have a very similar issue.

 

I don't know yet. I only use this truck to pull a rv with. Ifi fill the fuel filter bowl to the top it runs pretty good for awhile. I ran it 250 miles 2 months ago and it ran OK. The fuel will come down pretty quick though. I changed the first filter to a 50 micron, no change. I started the truck the other day and idled it around 900rpm until warm and drove it a few miles. It ran very bad sucking lots of air. I want to change the fuel press. Regulator, think it has a small filter screen on it but who knows. I may even try a 25 30 micron secondary fuel filter instead of the 10 micron. If you figure it out let me know.
