Lol with all that hair he will be well equipped for the looming winter! I'm sitting in Jersey at the Costco waiting to deliver in the morning. I'm a little tired after getting here, probably about 560 miles. Not the most I've done by far, but some days feel like a drag. If my next reload ain't coming til Monday, I may not go anywhere and get a 34 and rest right here. I was just in Oak Grove, KY last week doing a 34. Blew a tire right before the exit. Oops. I knew immediately which one it was. I was trying to get back to STL before getting it fixed.

The defense seems to be standing their ground somewhat this year. This portal thing has players making way too many moves... DJ U comes to mind down in Florida State. His play is gonna get a good coach like Mike Norvell fired.

 

I'm on my way back from Meadville, PA on a 2 stop load. Yesterday was so bizarre. I stopped at a Speedway near Kent, OH for some coffee. I had pee something serious so I walked to the restroom. I opened the door and I see a lady standing behind a wheelchair with a man in it. Now due to my history of walking in women's bathrooms by accident, I had to check the sign. I was headed into the correct restroom. The lady explained that the gentleman had back surgery so she had to help day to day on everything. No biggie, I told her we're all grown folks here so I did my business and held small talk with her. She said she asked if anyone was in the bathroom before she went in. Nobody answered. She needed the handicap stall evidently. I washed my hands and my coffee cup out, and she asked me if I could check and see if the guy was ok. So I walk to the door to knock and I could see him thru the crack where the door closes. I saw him leaned up against the wall and I thought initially he had a stroke or something so started to go get help, but upon a more detailed glance, there was this rapid fire movement. Fellas, this guy was standing in the stall masturbating! He was getting it too! I back away from the door, I'm like....ummmmmmm yeah....kinda confused and frozen. The lady looked at me so I made the motion to let her know what he was doing. They had been waiting for several minutes to use that stall and they needed to get the hell on the road because they were headed up to Wilkes Baree, PA. I got out of the restroom and another lady was waiting outside of the restroom room and looked at me. I'm reading her body language, and she's reading mine, and she says, "I already know. My brother is in there. He does this all the time." She looked aggravated and embarrassed. Man I had get thay coffee and hightail it out of there. The things you come across on this road......

 

I do like the parity, and I also like seeing more group of 5 teams competing at a high level...see Northern Illinois upsetting Notre Dame, or Bowling Green nearly taking down Penn State a couple of years ago. There's also like 5 or 6 teams that look like they could win it all. You're right though Norvell made a bad move getting DJ U. I think he's a good coach though. He did well at Memphis, and Florida State was unbeaten last year. They gotta figure out that run defense too.
