Popular trucking YouTube personality dies at age 68

He had one of the channels I actually enjoyed on YouTube. Rest in peace, driver.

 

Oh wow. Sorry to hear it. I've watched several of his videos.

 

Maybe his family was very upset. Maybe they had to have a long talk about what they wanted to do. They don't owe us instant updates.

 

I remember watching his videos when I first got into the industry. I found them fascinating and helpful as a new driver. Sucks that he died young, 68 isn't that old.

 

Sounded like it was sudden and shocked the family and took them some time to process it themselves before making it public and dealing with internet trolls.

 

He probably had a bunch of videos done and were set to auto upload.

 

I don't know. The way YouTube works he was the star and if he disappeared there's no money. I'm just cynical. They did have a 3rd party video editor who had a backlog. Who knows. I just got an icky feeling from the whole thing.
