    Wondering if any of you car hauler guys have experience running 295/60's on 8.25" rims? And if you can even do it

    It’s an 11” tire. It will work fine on a standard rim.

    I run that tire in all positions. I run a 9” wheel on the steers to run at 130 lbs and 14,600 legally. On my drives I use a 8.25” wheel at 110lbs. The tire manufacturer spec sheets all call for a 9” wheel. If you can find one of the old spec sheets it shows that tire can be run on a 8.25” wheel as long as you use less pressure and lower weights. Those weights are still good with what most people carry on duals at legal weights.
